Upon arriving at Anchor'S Drop, I was warmly greeted by the owner and promptly shown to my room. The view from the hotel was amazing, with fine vistas of the surrounding area. The room itself was clean and fresh, and I was delighted to find that instead of instant coffee, I was treated to a delicious cup of freshly brewed coffee. The pub downstairs offered a great selection of food at reasonable prices, particularly their fresh pizzas and chips. It was also worth noting that the location of the hotel was ideal, with the beach just a short distance away. it's important to be cautious of the quicksand as it can be deceptive.
I did notice that the bathroom could use some maintenance and a thorough cleaning to address issues like mold. The window and its surrounding area also needed a good cleaning.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

During our Christmas stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the level of service and the comfort of the accommodation. the hosts were very welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. We also enjoyed the delicious food at their restaurant, especially the lasagne. Another advantage was the friendly and engaging nature of the hosts, which made our stay feel warm and inviting.
In terms of negatives, we couldn't find any significant downsides to our experience. Everything was as described, and we couldn't fault it.

The bay outside was fine, offering beautiful views. The location was perfect for a quiet family holiday, with a relaxing atmosphere and amazing views of the Bristol channel and Minehead. The cleanliness of the caravan was excellent, with all beds made up upon arrival and small extras provided. The shower in room 6 was amazing. The hosts, Marcus and Cara, were hospitable and attentive. The central heating in the caravan kept us warm and cozy. The hotel was well-equipped and in a perfect position.
Although the fridge in the caravan was very old and iced up, it still kept our food cold. The lack of waste paper baskets in the bathrooms was a minor inconvenience.

The peaceful and quiet area was exactly what we wanted. Car journey to local shop, but shopping in Minehead accessible by car. Caravan 6 had great view, only 5 min walk to beach.

The location of this budget-friendly accommodation is absolutely perfect. With stunning views over the Bristol channel and Wales in the distance, it's a real treat for the eyes. Plus, being able to park your car right alongside the caravan is super convenient.
Some guests mentioned that the bathroom could use some maintenance, but overall, it's a minor issue compared to the rest of the experience.
